Field Walks
Looking to explore the nature of Maine? Have a favorite spot you'd love to plan a photography shoot? Just want to get to know a little more of the natural history of the world around you? Sandra loves exploring and learning about everything wild. You'll be amazed at the little things to see everywhere, if you just take the time to look. Some of these walks cover longer distances, but many others last hours and only travel a few hundred feet! Walks are customized to fit the interests and abilities of the participants.
Photography Workshops
Want to know what all of those buttons and dials do on your camera? Already know the basics but looking to go forward? With plain language and common sense examples, Sandra’s workshops help any photographer capture images of nature, birds, bugs, landscapes, or whatever captures your fancy. These workshops are appropriate for photographers of all ages and skill levels, and can be custom tailored to exactly what you are looking for.
Public Speaking
Bring the outdoors inside and on-screen with Sandra's vivid images and stories from the frontiers of nature and biology. Presented with humor and enthusiasm, Sandra's lectures feature topics on natural history, photography, focuses on a specific species, or whatever’s flying around in your own backyard.

These talks work well for Audubon chapters, garden clubs, university classes, conservation organizations and community groups of all kinds.
Writing and Editing
Sandra is a writer and editor who speaks your language, whether scientific or basic. With more than two decades in journalism and public relations, Sandra can bring the force of the written word to people, organizations, and ideas to the public. She will write or edit your report, news release, website or other document saving you time while creating a memorable, professional presentation.
